Previous experiences in the field is not a must, but experience in cinema or media is a plus

A Workshop dedicated to young amatures who wish to become filmmakers

A scholarship for 14 month uniquely provides professional standard practical training, with subsequent opportunity for filmmaking, for those who have neither the time nor the money to attend full-time school, yet seek prolonged and serious involvement.
The Workshop offers information, training, forums, screenings and free advice, and interviews with professional directors, writers and other industry experts

  Requirements  
 
  • Age range: 18 to 35
  • The candidate must at least have acquired secondary education
 
  Expected Workshop Outcome  
 
  • 10 Short Features
 
  Selection Process  
 
  • After reviewing applications, a number of candidates will be selected for interviews, and 12 candidates will be selected to participate in the workshop
 
  The Workshop  
 
  • The workshop starts on 15 November for a period of 14 months
  • 8 months for theoretical and practical sessions
  • The last 6 months for the preparation and execution of the final project (Each candidate will be able to use for free: video camera, lighting equipment and editing unit)
  • The workshop offers a great opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience in the artistic and technical aspects of the art of Cinema
  • Workshop includes seminars with professional directors, writers and other industry experts
  • Candidate must attend at least 60% of theoretical hours or he/she will not be permitted to make his/her final project
